Dr Vestas has been doing a doggie protest by refusing to get out of bed to go to his new Dog School! He has been a very reluctant pupil over these last 2 days. He wouldn’t do any of his basic obedience commands, which he does faultlessly here at SCHNAUZERHAUS!
Yesterday, Day 2, he spent the day looking out the door at the parking space where our car dropped him off. He refused to drink, to go out for a pee and as a major protest, pooped inside on the carpet! When he was picked up, we wished the world would swallow us up, as the litany of crimes committed listed by his teacher was just too hard to take.
Needless to say, as soon as he was home at the Schnauzer Resort, he was back to his old self!
Last day today, and I’ve promised him an extra helping at dinner tonight, a long walk at his favourite park and heaps of extra cuddles! As well, he’s been informed that he doesn’t have to attend school any more, and that he will be home-schooled from now on!
