The doggos and the hooman staff wish you the bestest and most peaceful time over this Christmas and New Year Holiday period.
We are celebrating here with lots of walks in the cooler parts of the day. Clark Gable and Dr Vestas are black, so feel the heat more. They have cooling collars which we apply on the trip home in the car. The car, is of course, air-conditioned, as is their residence. They are provided with large, soft pillows to rest their precious bums on, cold water to sup upon, blissful massages from me and hairdressing sessions from our dedicated groomer, Grandma Caroline.
Of course, the food here at the Schnauzer Resort (what we have been nicknamed by a fan and follower) is of gourmet quality – no processed foods here! Organic vegetables accompany the meat portion of their meal. The doggos have strict standards, and food is always served on time, and is of the utmost freshness. Meat, of course, is human grade! They are served an infinite variety of foodstuffs to ensure their tastebuds are suitably tickled!
As I write, Clark Gable, and trainee doggo Alice in Wonder are busily shredding the contents of my waste-paper basket – such helpful little dears. We go green here – no need for an electric shredder on their watch!
Dr Vestas shares his Christmas Holiday wisdom with you all:
· Slurp plenty of cool water
· Chill out frequently in a very comfortable spot
· Insist on air-conditioning at all tiMES
· Demand frequent displays of affection
· Smile often to lift your mood
· Take nothing too seriously – life’s too short
