Arrabella, Schnauzerhaus’s new trainee therapy doggo got glammed up to go to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. She demanded that her best collar be put on, along with matching leash, and that her hair be freshly washed and trimmed.
She swanned around Laurel Bank Park, after partaking of a ‘puppacino’ at the cafe over the road. She didn’t want me to tell you that she was terrified of the cup it came in, so we had to resort to nicking a saucer that was underneath my cup for her to drink out of.
There were many admiring glances at the park, and people stopping to share their own schnauzer story. Bella took it all as her right that she be dutifully admired by the ‘peasants.’
Minutes after this charming photo was taken, she leapt off the footpath, vertically, over a half meter wall into the water lily pond, much to the delight of the spectators. As her human I was suitably embarrassed and hauled her out by the collar, with my eyes averted. She, however, thought she was just the best thing, and marched away with head held high, dripping water!
Bella’s motto is “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”
